Our office remains committed to our community’s health. To continue to provide care, we are taking extra steps to protect our patients, families, and staff.
Telemedicine
We are now offering TeleVisits for established patients through our secure Patient Portal! Call our office at (352) 512-9898 to schedule an appointment and to learn more. Instructions on how to access our TeleVisit appointments can be found here. Your visit will proceed just as if you were in our office, but you’ll be safe at home. The physician can address your concerns, review your symptoms, and order tests and medications.
In-Office Appointments
Our office remains open for new patient consultations, EEG procedures, and follow-up appointments. We have taken the following precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
Office Occupancy
To keep the traffic in our office to a minimum, we are asking for each patient to be accompanied by only one parent or caregiver during their appointment. We are also limiting the occupancy in our office to 10 people .
Screening
We are screening all patients and caregivers for symptoms of cough, fever, and shortness of breath.
Mask
We are requiring all patients, caregivers, and staff to wear masks while inside the office and throughout the duration of their appointment. We will provide masks to those who do not have one.
Temperature Check
All patients and staff will have their temperature checked upon entering the facility.
Social Distancing
All clinic staff, patients, and visitors will adhere to our social distancing guidelines. The seating in our waiting room is spaced out to follow the recommended guidelines.
Cleaning Protocol
All areas are being wiped down and sanitized continuously throughout the day. We continue to provide infection control measures for our patients and visitors, such as alcohol based hand sanitizers, tissues, hand soap, and waste receptacles.
Please stay safe, wash your hands, practice social distancing and call us if you need us.
